Bundage ready for visits

Edmond (Okla.) Santa Fe defensive standout Calvin Bundage continues to see the college interest mount, and he is excited to see all that the recruiting process has to offer.
"I just received two offers - Louisiana-Lafayette and Iowa," Bundage said. "I haven't really been narrowing down my schools yet. I've just been taking them in and seeing who would offer me. Later I'll narrow down the schools."

The Iowa Hawkeyes are the most recent college to place an offer on the table , and he is beginning to check into the program.
"The first time I heard of them they offered my friend Max (Wariboko), and he was talking to me about them," Bundage said. "Then the coach offered me and I started researching them. They're in the Big 10 and a good program."
In addition to receiving several scholarship offers, Bundage has already taken a few college visits. He has visited Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU, and Arkansas, and he has plans to return to Oklahoma State soon.
"This weekend I'm going to OSU's spring game," Bundage said. "I'm looking forward to checking out the guys and checking out the Star position, and building a relationship with the coaches."
Bundage also plans to attend Arkansas' spring game April 25, and hopes to take a few more visits during the summer months.
He does not claim any leaders right now, but he does know what he is looking for in a future college program.
"The best fit," Bundage said. "How I fit into the scheme and early playing time."
He sees himself a college safety, and he enjoys a few different aspects of the game at the position.
"Hawking down the ball and stopping the run," Bundage said.
He is currently ranked No. 2 in the Rivals.com Oklahoma Postseason Top 10, and No. 36 among the nation's outside linebacker prospects.
