Bunche shakes up visits

Newark, Dela. offensive tackle Malcolm Bunche was scheduled to take a visit to Connecticut this weekend. Did the 6-foot-6, 315-pounder make it to Storrs?
"No, I decided to cut UConn loose, I have no more interest in them," he said. "I am still looking around though."

Bunche has a visit scheduled for next weekend to Miami on January 23rd.
"I'm excited for that one," he stated. "I want to see the atmosphere and the location. I want to talk to some of the players and get their feel for what the campus is like and what the school is like. It's going to be fun."
What does Bunche like about the Hurricanes?
"I don't have a lot of information on them, but through the years they have had great tradition in football and good players come out of there. I'm interested in Coach Shannon too."
A week ago, Bunche took his second official visit to Maryland.
"I was at Maryland on the 9th," he said. "It was great. That was my second official. It was fun and I got to meet the offensive line coach and Coach Brattan. I talked to some of the running backs and Coach Friedgen. It was a great experience.
"It's a good school and I like the area. I also like how the campus was set up."
Bunche believes his visit to Miami will be his last and confirmed he is down to Maryland, Miami and Rutgers. He added a bit about his other finalist, Rutgers.
"They have a great atmosphere and great coaches," he stated. "They have a lot of good athletes and a great offensive line coach. Coach Schiano is putting them on the map and they are building a future which I like."
As for a decision, Bunche expects to announce his choice on Signing Day.
