Bulls offers Tampa receiver

On Wednesday of this week Andre Davis got his first two scholarship offers from Florida State and Florida International. Offer No. 3 came in earlier today. This one was from the local team, the University of South Florida.
"I got an offer from USF," Davis said via a text message. "I really like their overall program and their coaching staff."

Davis, 6-1 and 180 pounds, had a brilliant performance at the two day seven-on-seven at USF back in July. He helped lead Tampa Jefferson to the tournament semi-finals, where they lost on the last play of the game to Tampa Hillsborough.
Incidentally, Jefferson travels to Hillsborough this weekend for the season opener for both teams. That means Davis will likely go one on one with one of the nation's top defensive backs, four-star cornerback Terrence Mitchell.
"T-Rex is a great DB," Davis said earlier this week. "To match up with him is a big challenge and I will have to play hard and go all out on every play. T-Rex is a good one because he has great speed and he can jump. He's just an outstanding player. I am really looking forward to this Friday."
