Bullock likes the Terps

One of North Carolina's top recruits in interested in playing in the ACC, but it might not be on Tobacco Road. Who has the inside track for linebacker Chase Bullock?
"He went to Maryland and just loved it," said Chad Bullock, Chase's brother. "They were so impressed by his play, they've convinced him he's the best outside linebacker in the country. It's really helped his confidence. He loves the coaches up there at Maryland, and they think he has a ton of potential."

The 6-foot-3, 215-pound linebacker leads one of the state's top defenses at Durham (N.C.) Northern and has garnered attention from schools all over the region. Who else is he interested in?
"I'd say Virginia and South Carolina are two others that he likes a lot," his brother said. "He talks about them a lot and really likes their coaches, Al Groh and Lou Holtz. I'd say Maryland and Virginia are his two favorites, but South Carolina probably isn't far behind.
"He has official visits scheduled to all those places. On Dec. 5th he's going to be at Maryland and on Jan. 16th he'll be at Virginia. The next week on Jan. 23rd he's going to South Carolina. He was going to Virginia on Dec. 12th, but he'll be in the Shrine Bowl then."
This year Bullock has led the Northern Durham defense with well over 100 tackles and 12 sacks.
