An official visit this weekend should pretty much wrap up the recruiting process for Mansfield (Texas) Summit inside linebacker Anthony Bell.
The 6-foot-1, 216-pounder will take a trip to check out Louisiana Tech this weekend. Bell, who has received an offer from the Bulldogs, says he'll more than likely be making a decision this week during the visit.
"It's looking like it's going to be Louisiana Tech," Bell said. "It will probably happen this weekend since I'm supposed to be going there on an official visit. My dad said if I like it, I can go and give them my commitment."
Bell says there will be a number of different things he'll be looking at before he pulls the trigger.
"I'll be looking at the area, the surroundings, the school, and the academic program they have there," Bell said. "I like the WAC, their football team, and the defense they run. I just want to go down there and see things for myself."
There could possibly be two more official visits after this one, but Bell says that if he commits, those won't be necessary.
"My family and I may not go through with the other two if I make my decision," he said.
