Buffs up next for tight end
Denver (Colo.) East tight end DaVaughn Thornton took a visit earlier this month to Colorado State, now it is time to visit the other in-state school.
"I am going to be visiting Colorado this weekend," the 6-foot-5, 217-pound Thornton said. "I visited Colorado State last week. It was ok."

The two-star rated Thornton is also receiving attention from New Mexico and Washington State.
"I've heard from all of them," he said. "I'm still weighing my options. I haven't scheduled any other visits. I have offers from the two here in Colorado and from Wyoming and San Diego State.
"As far as playing in the state, it doesn't matter much. I mean it won't be a deciding thing for me."
Thornton caught 44 passes as a senior for 786 yards and 11 touchdowns.
