Buffs about to get another QB

Mission (Kan.) Shawn Mission North dual-threat quarterback Mack Brown is one of the top 10 players in Kansas. And at 6-foot-4 and 205 pounds, Brown is a threat as a runner and a thrown. That’s why he’s getting heavy attention from many of the schools across the region.
But that attention might turn to a commitment soon.

“He’s pretty close to committing to Colorado,” his father and coach, Sam Brown, said Sunday afternoon. “He’s just been really high on them for a while now.”
Brown’s only offer at this point is from CU, but he is getting heavy interest from Tulsa, N.C. State, Ball State, Kansas, Kansas State and Missouri.
“N.C. State wants him to visit, and I know that Tulsa and Ball State really liked him,” Brown said. “But with our season about to get under way, he’d like to have the decision made soon.”
Brown opens the season on September 2 against Lawrence Free State. North is projected to be one of the better programs in Kansas this year with Brown’s guidance.
