Buckram ready for post-season, offers

The playoffs are next for Copperas Cove, Texas all-purpose back Donald Buckram and he's also expecting some very good news on his recruiting by tomorrow.
After getting an early offer from UTEP, the 5-foot-9, 175-pound runner expects to see his next offer officially arrive in writing according to the Tulsa coaches. Utah State has also entered the picture with attention making for an interesting fall for the two-star prospect.

"It's really between Tulsa and UTEP as the favorites," Buckram said. "Both are offering me a great chance to play running back and slot receiver. I'm going to make those visits after the season along with Utah State."
Buckram admits he hasn't been hearing much from the other schools that had sent him mail in the past. He is just fine with putting his focus on those programs for now unless something new comes along.
"We've got Klein (Texas) Forest coming up on Saturday," he said. "I'm ready to go and so are the rest of us. It's all about going deep into the playoffs and giving it all we can."
"Everything else will come after that."
