Buckeyes ready to get involved with Alexander

One of the Big Ten schools that Aldine (Texas) Eisenhower safety Mister Alexander has been waiting on apparently has taken the next step towards an offer.
The 6-foot-2, 183-pound prospect has hauled in offers from several schools like North Carolina, Arizona State, and Arkansas, but apparently the Buckeyes are now getting involved.

"My coach told me that Ohio State made a verbal offer to me," Alexander said. "I think it's just verbal right now, but something could be happening soon I think."
Alexander is still favoring Florida State, his longtime favorite.
"It's still FSU," Alexander said. "I've just got to get them some more tape with all of my ball skills on there. They're looking at me for free safety, so I need to get them all the stuff so they can see what I can do."
There is not a set date for a decision, but the three-star No. 19 rated safety prospect thinks more offers could be coming.
"I'm hoping for FSU, I think Central Florida will come, and I'm hoping to see something from Iowa as well," he said. "I'm all qualified and everything, so I just need to figure out where I'm going."
