Buck interested in Pac-12 team

Donavin Buck wants to be recruited by many schools but after going to the USC-UCLA game this past weekend at the Rose Bowl the Bruins definitely stand out early on.
The 6-foot-4, 200-pound linebacker from Brawley (Calif.) Brawley Union is just wrapping up his junior season so he's still considering all his options but UCLA impressed him by beating the Trojans and they are one of his favorites.

"I'm trying to get recruited as much as possible but I'm really interested in UCLA," Buck said. "They have a great school and it's a pretty solid program. That would be really nice because it's close to home.
"They're just trying to get to know me better."
Many top prospects were at the Rose Bowl to see UCLA defeat USC in the cross-town rivalry and Buck said he was especially impressed with the turnaround job first-year coach Jim Mora has done this season.
The whole environment was great there, Buck said, and he's working hard to get recruited more by the Bruins.
"It was really exciting," Buck said. "Everybody was really into the game and it was a lot of fun.
"They played pretty good. They started the game well and came out on top and it got close in the middle but they came out on top."
Recruiting has been busy this season for Buck, who said UCLA, Washington, Oregon State, San Diego State, Florida State, Wisconsin, Washington State, Duke, Georgia, Alabama and Arizona are all sending mail.
"I'm getting a lot of interest," he said.
