Bryant focuses on more than recruiting

Regardless of how highly recruited Rivals250 wide receiver Dez Bryant is, he understands the importance of work in the classroom before he starts focusing heavily on recruiting.
This summer, the 6-foot-1, 195-pound Bryant has himself in summer school taking an English course and preparing to take the scholastic test sometime before the football season begins. Other than that, the four-star wideout has his eyes set on 7-on-7 tournaments and camps in July.

"I'm just taking English and getting ready for our first 7-on-7 tournament this weekend," Bryant said. "That's really been it lately. My phone is messed up so I haven't really been able to talk to any coaches or anything recently."
Bryant still continues to add offers. His most recent came from Colorado, Iowa State, and Nebraska.
"I don't really know a ton about those schools, but I like all three," Bryant said. "When I know more about them, I'll have more to say about them."
Bryant also mentioned that he doesn't have any favorites at this time. However, some of the same names such as LSU, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech are teams he still holds high interest in.
He'll be heading to both LSU and Texas A&M camps in July.
"I'm not really sure about a decision yet," he said. "To be honest, I haven't really thought about any other visits other than those camps. My grades are pretty good right now. I'm just working hard."
Bryant is rated as the No. 17 wide receiver prospect in the nation. He had 48 receptions for 1,025 yards and 16 touchdowns as a junior.
