Bryant down to three schools

Rumors have been circulating for a week now that Clemson is the team to beat for Rockingham (N.C.) Richmond County athlete Jamar Bryant. Is there any truth to that?
"I wouldn't go so far as to say they're my number one school for sure," said Bryant. "But they've made up a lot of ground. I like Coach Bowden and what they're doing there. I've been impressed with them recently.

"On Jan. 9 I'm taking an official visit to Clemson with my teammate Dannell Ellerbe. I think we're going to Georgia (Jan. 16) and NC State (Jan. 30) together too, but I'm not sure about that. Those three schools are the three I'm down to. I'm really not looking at any others too hard."
The 6-foot-3, 193-pound Bryant runs the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds and has offers from all three schools in addition to offers from schools like Tennessee, Michigan, Virginia and Nebraska. Is there a chance Bryant and Ellerbe will commit to the same school?
"Yes, that's definitely a possibility," said Bryant. "We've talked about that a little bit, but haven't said anything for sure. If it turns out one place is better for me than it is for him I wouldn't expect him to commit there, even if I would. But it would be nice to go to school together."
Bryant plans on announcing his decision after he has taken all of his official visits.
