Bruton remaining focused

Defensive back Keyvone Bruton in a veteran of the camp circuit. The Chesapeake (Va.) Oscar Smith stand out was in Jacksonville last weekend at the Rivals250 Underclassmen Challenge presented by Under Armour to showcase everything he has learned at his numerous camps and to show why two schools have extended him offers.
"Virginia Tech and Old Dominion have offered," said the 5-foot-10, 199-pound Bruton. "I haven't really been able to talk to coaches all that much. We've been in team practices and camp lately."

Virginia Tech is the only school that has hosted Bruton this summer but there is a chance he takes another visit.
"I'm pretty close with Virginia Tech but I haven't been on many visits lately," he said. "I've been focused on getting better with my team.
"I don't have any visit plan right now," Bruton said. "If something were to come up though I might take one."
Although he has never seen the campus, Bruton was a fan of a PAC-12 powerhouse and a kid.
"I grew up a fan of Oregon," he said. "As a kid I saw them running all around and scoring touchdowns though I like that."
Bruton helped lead Oscar Smith to a birth in the state championship game last season.
