Brunetti lands two more big offers

Things are starting to heat up for Barry Brunetti. Brunetti, from Memphis (Tenn.) University School, is the top rated dual-threat quarterback prospect in the country. Late last week he received a scholarship offer from Penn State. Today, he landed two more big ones.
"Purdue offered me this morning and West Virginia offered me a little later in the day," Brunetti said.
"Purdue is another Big 10 offer and I know they are actively looking for a hybrid quarterback to do it all. I know they always have a great offense but other than that I don't know too much about them. But I would like to check them out this summer and see their campus.
"The West Virginia offer is big to me. They did it this afternoon. I have been talking with them and I have watched them with Pat White. I think I am a similar quarterback to him in that I can run and throw. I really want to see their campus and facilities for sure.
"Today was a great day. I never got two (offers) in one day."
Brunetti now has scholarship offers from Penn State, West Virginia, Purdue, Mississippi State, Duke, Marshall, Memphis, Chattanooga, and Tulsa.
