Bruins, Buffs lead for Louisiana OL

River Ridge (La.) John Curtis offensive lineman Aaron Meyer just wrapped up his high school career with a state runner-up finish, and now turns his focus to the recruiting game.
“I’ve kind of been putting that off until our season ended,” he said. “But things are starting to heat up again. I’m going to visit Colorado and UCLA for sure. Maybe Ole Miss, too. Those are the main ones.”

Meyer (6-3, 285, 4.9) said he doesn’t have the dates scheduled yet, but could have them within the next week as he gets a series of in-home visits.
“Ole Miss is coming tomorrow and Colorado will be here Wednesday,” he said. “UCLA was here on Dec. 1, but they said they’d be coming back sometime soon. I should know more after I sit down and talk to them.”
The Bruins and Buffaloes have been his favorites from the start of the process. Has anything changed?
“No, it’s still mainly those two,” he said. “I really like how they’ve made me feel during the whole process. I feel like I would fit in well with those teams, those schools. But I’m still giving Ole Miss a shot.”
