Bruhn on the way to first visit

Chris Bruhn, who some college coaches believe is the best running back prospect in the California junior colleges, is set to make his first official visit tomorrow.
He’s on his way to Washington State.

“I’m in my car right now headed up to Sacramento,” Bruhn said from his cel phone. “I’m flying out of Sacramento to go to Washington State tomorrow morning.”
Bruhn, who is now a 6-foot-3, 195-pound sophomore at Butte College, signed with Washington State out of Woodland high school in Woodland, Calif. but did not qualify academically.
The Cougars may have the inside track on getting Bruhn’s signature a second time.
“I really haven’t been talking to anybody else lately,” he said. “I was talking to SC, but I haven’t talked to them in a while.”
Bruhn rushed for 1,198 yards this season.
He has several more courses to pass before he can become eligible for Division I football. It’s unclear whether he will graduate from junior college in May or over the summer.
