Brucki is picking up interest

College interest is starting up for Roanoke (Va.) Cave Spring offensive tackle Dylan Brucki. The 6-foot-5, 295-pounder is getting looks from a handful of schools so far.
"Richmond invited me to their junior day, William & Mary did the same, Yale wants to see me this summer and I've talked to the coach from Virginia," he said. "Virginia wants me to come to their camp this summer. Liberty has asked me to come to their camp too."

What are they saying regarding their interest?
"They are all not saying too much yet," he said. "They told me I did great this year and mostly want me to come to camps and would love to see me there."
Brucki noted that one school really sticks out from the rest.
"My favorite university from the get go has always been Wake Forest," he said. "I grew up in North Carolina and I just have always liked them from an academic standpoint. I always find academics even more important than athletics. Sure, football is fun, but I've got to learn things while I'm there."
Brucki originally hails from Concord, N.C., just outside of Charlotte. He moved two years ago to Roanoke.
On the field, Brucki had a big season earning second team all-state, first team all-region, district and Timesland in his first year starting.
