Browns offer list growing

Rosenberg (Texas) Lamar Consolidated defensive end Lavar Brown can't tell you exactly how many scholarship offers he's picked up in the last few weeks. At this point, it's hard to blame him considering he's into the double-digits.
The 6-foot-3, 240-pounder has them in from Arizona, Arizona State, Michigan State, Kansas State, Texas A&M, Nebraska, Iowa, Houston, Colorado, Kansas, Iowa State, and many others. That doesn't mean he's any closer to making a decision.

"They're all equal to me," Brown said about the schools that have offered. "I don't have any top groups or anything. Kansas State, Texas A&M, and Arizona are the three I talk with the most though."
Brown also doesn't have major visit plans set just yet. He's planning on heading to the Oklahoma State camp in late June.
His decision looks to fall even later.
"I'll probably commit in February on Signing Day," Brown said. "I haven't been anywhere yet."
Arizona is a school that could be high on his list.
"I talk to those coaches the most and I feel like I have the best relationship with those guys," he said. "It's tough to say. I like talking with all of the coaches."
"It's pretty exciting right now."
As for whether he and his teammate Jarvis Jones will go to the same school, that's also up in the air.
"We've talked about it," he said. "It's too early to say if that will happen though."
