"I learned more about how the program is run and it was good getting to meet some of the coaches. I also got to talk to the offensive line coach, Jeff Stoutland. I got to meet him and talk to him and learn more about how they help you academically more than football."
The 6-foot-3.5, 339-pounder spent the majority of his time on campus hanging out in the dorm rooms and playing games. However, when it came time for him to head home the Michigan State coaches made sure he knew he was wanted.
"They were making sure I had a good time," he said.
"They asked me how I liked it and what it was going take for me to commit there. Then they just wanted to know how I felt about them and what my plans are going to be over the next few weeks."
Browning maintains he does not yet have a leader and intends to take his final three visits to Northwestern (January 6), Tennessee (January 13) and Indiana (January 20) before making a final decision. He also visited Ohio State back on December 2.
