Brownells Northwestern visit postponed
"I didn't visit Northwestern," Thorofare (N.J.) West Deptford kicker Jake Brownell said. "Their quarters ended, so we moved my visit to January. It was scheduled for this past weekend, but now it's Jan. 14.
"My first visit will be Temple Dec. 10. And I have Navy Jan. 7. Then Northwestern is after that.

"I'd say it's down to those three. But I have been hearing from Vanderbilt. And I heard Penn State might do something with me.
"I have an offer from Army, and Navy and Temple. I'm waiting on Northwestern."
The 5-foot-10 and 180 pound Brownell made six of nine field goals during his senior season. His longest came from 40 yards. Brownell also made 62 or 64 extra points with the two misses being blocked.
