Browne talks about commitment date

Lisbon (Ohio) Anderson star Vince Browne plans to visit a number of schools over the next couple months, then make a verbal commitment.
"I'm going to the Ohio State NIKE Camp May 5," Browne said. "I'm going to Ohio State's summer camp too. I think it's June 4. I'm also going to Penn State's summer camp."

Browne said the Buckeyes and Nittany Lions are two schools he is interested in, though those two have not offered a scholarship to this point.
"Northwestern, Indiana and Akron have offered," Browne said. "Right now I'm looking at anyone. I'm keeping my options open for now."
Browne wants to take a good look at a number of schools before he selects one.
"I'll try to get to as many schools as possible this summer," he said. "I'll definitely get to Ohio State and Penn State. And West Virginia and Illinois are two more. Indiana and Northwestern are two more I'll try and get to."
Browne would like to make a decision after his summer visits.
"I'd like to wait till the end of June or early July," he said. "Then give a verbal commitment."
The 6-foot-5 and 245-pound Browne has played middle linebacker, defensive end, tight end, and offensive tackle the past two seasons. He made over 100 tackles during his junior season and will likely play defensive end in college.
