Brown working hard on academics

Two scholarship offers sit on the table for Arlington (Texas) Seguin wide receiver DeAundre Brown, but that could be changing over the summer.
Louisville and Tulsa were the first to offer. Now, the 5-foot-11, 181-pounder says that he has plans for at least one camp next month and is currently working hard on his academics. Brown says that with that and summer track, he's been busy.

"Right now, I'm working on my grades to get them up," Brown said. "I took the ACT two Saturdays ago and then I'm taking the SAT in October. Then I'm probably going to take the ACT again whenever it comes up again. I haven't gotten my first score back."
Brown says that his hard work in the classroom could mean more offers.
"Kansas, UTEP, Iowa, Arkansas, Texas Tech, and LSU," Brown said about schools that have talked about offering sometime in the near future. "They're just waiting for me to get my test score in and get my grades up."
Three teams lead the way for Brown.
"LSU, Kansas, and Iowa," Brown said when asked about leaders "They run the spread offense. Basically with all three schools I like that they pass the ball a lot."
A Texas A&M camp is next for Brown in July. Brown says that there are several reasons why he wants to check out the Aggies for a camp.
"I just like the atmosphere there," he said. "I've visited them quite a few times. I like the players, the people there, it's just a good place to be."
Brown says he'll most likely make a decision either during football season or around Signing Day.
