Brown to set first official

Defensive end/tight end Everette Brown is still looking at the same five schools he's liked for a while, but now he may be close to setting up an official visit to one of them.
"I'm not 100-percent sure, but I might be going to Florida State on an official visit the first weekend in December. I was thinking that I'd like to have a decision made by te end of December or sometime in early January, so that means I need to get started on those visits. I'm not sure where I'll go or what dates anything will be. But like I said, I've got a feeling I'll be going to Florida State pretty soon."

The 6-foot-4, 240-pound prospect from Wilson (N.C.) Beddingfield is rated four-stars and the No. 3 weakside defensive end in the nation.
"I'm still basically looking at UNC, NC State, Virginia Tech, Florida State and Georgia, and they're all even. Our team is in the second round of the playoffs now and we're 7-4 on the year, so once I finish up with that I'll be able to spend more time on recruiting. Right now I'm just trying to balance my time."
What factors will weigh the most on Brown's mind?
"I want to feel comfortable at the campus I choose to spend the next four years," he said. "It will be like a home away from home, so that's definitely important. I want to be in a good business school, and what my parents think is going to be really important. I'll listen to them a lot."
