Brown still taking his time

Christian Brown continues to adjust to life in New Jersey as the recruiting process moves forward.
The former Florida prospect is a key player for Bridgeton, N.J., and the team is 1-1 this year.

"We've got a big game coming up this Friday," Brown said. "We're looking forward to getting another win. We're playing Holy Spirit."
That's a big game indeed.
"I've been playing more physical. I'm getting off the ball more quickly and just doing everything better," Brown added.
The 6-foot-2, 280-pound defensive tackle has basically determined that he is best suited for a 4-3 defensive scheme at the college level.
Rutgers, Illinois, West Virginia, UConn, Kentucky, Iowa State and Minnesota are the schools that have been recruiting him since the contact period opened up.
"I've been thinking about officials but I need to talk to the coaches and set it up," he said. "I have to visit the schools so I can't say I have any favorites or that I've narrowed it down."
Brown has only been in New Jersey for a short time so he can't say that Rutgers has a location edge. He did hint that he wouldn't be against the idea of playing football down in Florida, but right now based on the schools recruiting him it looks like that's unlikely.
"So far it's looking like I'm going to be playing in the north somewhere," he said.
