Brown shuffling officials

Greenville (N.C.) Rose running back Andre Brown is intent on not waiting until the last minute to schedule his visits. He's already visited the Virginia Cavaliers -- where else will he go?
"NC State, Tennessee and Nebraska are places I'm almost 100-percent sure I'll visit," he said. "It's just a matter of setting up the dates and fitting them all in.

"I had a trip to Nebraska scheduled for the first part of December, but that's kind of up in the air now. Nebraska wants me to visit then, but coach Amato and NC State wants me to visit then too. I've got to decide where I'm going on that date, then I'll just schedule another time to visit the other school."
Brown has rushed for more than 1,500 yards and 17 touchdowns this year. What's most impressive about that is he usually leaves the game in the fourth quarter when his team is ahead by a wide margin. Where might he take his fifth official?
"Miami looks like the top choice for the fifth visit at the moment," he said. "I've always heard how great the environment is down there and of course, they have a great program. If I end up there it might not be as a running back, but maybe as a receiver. That's way down the road though. There could be another team that jumps up and catches my attention."
Brown first official visit was to Virginia, where he watched the Cavaliers defeat ACC rival Wake Forest 27-24 in a thriller.
