Brown sees recruitment get busy

Ever since dominating at the Rivals Camp Series by Under Armour in Los Angeles last weekend, Erik Brown has seen his recruitment get incredibly busy.
Earlier this week, the Fontana (Calif.) Summit wide receiver landed his first Pac-12 offer from Oregon State and for Brown it's definitely a big one since so many other Inland Empire players, including some teammates are headed to Corvallis.

"It's not a complete surprise since they have a lot of IE talent and a lot of dudes I know like Victor Bolden and Charles Okonkwo and Justin Strong going to Oregon State from my school," Brown said.
"I've spoken with them before so it wasn't a complete surprise to get that offer. It's pretty big. It's my first Pac-12 offer so I'm happy about it."
Since Oregon State offered, Brown has also landed an offer from Washington, another important Pac-12 offer.
So far, Brown has been offered by Houston, Nevada, Oregon State, San Diego State and Washington and a lot of new interest is also coming through.
"I've been hearing from Notre Dame now," Brown said. "Notre Dame and then I got the offers from Oregon State and San Diego State (along with Washington). That's about it right now."
Brown, who recently shined at the NLA 7on7 in Las Vegas, dominated at the Rivals Camp in Los Angeles and was the top receiver at the event. He was close to being named the offensive MVP as well.
With all the new offers and interest, the Fontana Summit standout said he hopes things continue to stay busy in his recruitment. If this week has been any indication, that should not be an issue.
"I hope so," Brown said. "I think it will."
