Brown ready for visits

Preston Brown is hoping to play wide receiver in college.
And at 6-foot-4, 210 pounds with 4.55 speed, he might make a pretty good one.

But, the Camden (N.J.) Woodrow Wilson star knows that if things don’t work out on offense in college, his future still might be bright.
"I'm looking to play receiver," Brown said. "But if things don't pan out there, I wouldn't mind moving over to defense."
Brown is considered to be an outstanding linebacker prospect, so much so that Rivals.com ranks him as the No. 28 outside linebacker nationally.
Brown’s potential on both sides of the ball is just part of the reason schools from all over the country have recruited him. His five official visits will take him all across the Midwest, South and East Coast.
First up is Purdue this weekend.
Then on Dec. 6 and 13, he’ll visit Tulane and Iowa, though he doesn’t know yet in what order. On Jan. 17, he’ll visit Penn State, then he’s off to Indiana on Jan. 24.
Then, it’ll be decision time.
“I’ll probably decide real late,” Brown said.
