Brown plans to visit Badgers

Red Bank (N.J.) Catholic running back/cornerback Donald Brown is putting up excellent numbers this season and all his favorite schools have offered. He's set up his first official visit and plans to head out to Big Ten country in a few weeks.
"I've set up my first official visit to Wisconsin for the last week in October," said Brown. "I think they have a bye week then. It would have been nice to have seen a game, but it will be helpful to have more time to talk to people and check out the school and facilities more."

The 5-foot-11, 190-pound athlete is off to a fast start for Catholic.
"I've carried the ball 65 times for 677 yards and seven touchdowns on offense, and on defense I think I have about 20 tackles and an interception. We're 2-1 which is what matters, but I'm happy with the way I've been playing so far this year."
What schools other than Wisconsin is Brown looking at?
"My five favorites are probably Wisconsin, Iowa, Tennessee, Nebraska, UConn," he said. "They're even right now, and I'm not sure when I'll be ready to narrow it down any more than that. Maybe after the visit to Wisconsin I'll know something, but that won't be for another month. I'll just take things in stride and see what happens."
Brown is rated the No. 20 overall prospect in New Jersey.
