Brown not exactly committed just yet

Klein (Texas) Collins offensive guard David Brown definitely has some options available to him and just this past week, many thought his recruitment was done when he made a commitment to New Mexico. Apparently, the story doesn't end there.
Brown, a 6-foot-3, 275-pound two-star rated sleeper prospect for Collins, was planning on committing to New Mexico, but at the last minute when he thought his decision was made, things changed.

"It was kind of one of those things were I was pretty sure I was going to commit, so I just told everybody that it was a done deal," Brown said. "Seriously, at the last minute there were some personal matters and I ended up not doing it."
"I'd kind of like to keep the recruiting process between my family and me."
Brown says his official offers at this point include New Mexico, Navy, and Air Force.
"Kansas State offered me verbally in the spring, but those three are the only written ones right now," Brown said.
Visits are up next and New Mexico is not out of it just because he pulled back on his pledge.
"New Mexico and the rest are all very much in the picture," Brown said. "I'm interested in all the schools that have shown interest in me. We're going to look at all the schools and see what the best thing is."
