Brown names early favorites

Jermani Brown is quickly picking up offers and the 2017 defensive back said this past weekend that some schools are starting to stand out.
The Calabasas, Calif., prospect admits it's still in the early stages of his recruitment but there are three teams that have caught his attention so far.

"I'm just looking at the majors at each school because I really want to major in business entrepreneurship in college," Brown said. "The favorites right now are Arizona State, Boise State and probably Michigan State."
All three schools provide Brown with the academics he's looking for and also mix in well with the football programs.
He especially likes how the Spartans develop their defensive backs so that's something he will consider as his recruitment continues.
"Boise State has good academics and Michigan State does, too, and then Michigan State is really good for defensive backs," Brown said.
So far, the 2017 defensive back has landed offers from Arizona State, Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, Idaho, Michigan State, Syracuse, Utah and Wisconsin.
Brown said he wants to remain open to all programs but an offer from Oregon could change the course of his recruitment.
"I'm kind of open right now but I would love to get an Oregon offer," Brown said. "I've always had love for Oregon, just the speed of it. They play really fast and have great tempo."
The Calabasas prospect was one of the top defensive performers at the recent Rivals Camp Series Presented by Under Armour in Los Angeles.
