The 6-foot, 212-pound three-star prospect said he needs to finish his highlight film and then he wants to send it all over the place to see if more offers could come his way. Once his tape is out there, many more programs could get in the mix.
So far, Nevada is the lone school to offer, but many other programs have reached out recently, especially after the Rio Linda standout played so well this season. Some big teams are now interested and more offers could come soon.
"I'm getting more looks and letters but other than that not too much yet," Brown said. "I've been hearing a lot from Colorado, UCLA, USC , Missouri, Oregon and a little bit from California. I have to finish making my highlight tape and then I'll send it out to a couple colleges that want to see it."
The three-star prospect from Northern California had a dominant junior season.
His team finished with 11 wins and the 2015 running back rushed for 2,031 yards and 26 touchdowns on 210 carries. That's nearly a first down on every touch and he averaged nearly 185 yards per outing this season.
Despite all the interest coming in, but Brown said it's too early to name favorites.
The Rio Linda standout said he has some ideas about which programs stand out the most, but until more offers come in it's tough to say which ones would lead in his recruitment.
"I have a couple ideas on favorites, but I wouldn't commit to any school right now," Brown said.
