Brown is on the board

The sleeper tag may be coming off of Burkburnett, Texas athlete Nate Brown. That talented prospect, who has been under the radar, has picked up his first scholarship offer.
Recently, after several camp stops, the 5-foot-10, 174-pounder grabbed an offer from Louisiana-Monroe. Several others could come, but it's safe to say Brown is excited about the direction of his process.

"I was excited about the offer," Brown said. "It was like the 12th camp that I've been to, so I'm glad the hard work payed off. My dad and I are setting up another visit to Louisiana Monroe."
Other schools that Brown has high interest in includes North Texas, Baylor, Texas Tech, Southern Miss, and Tulsa among others.
"Well the only coaches that have really replied to our requests have been North Texas," Brown said. "I've been talking with their coaches quite a bit. We're not sure if we're going to visit up there yet or not."
Brown says he'd like to decide early if possible, but if not, will wait it out.
"If I go down to Louisiana-Monroe and l like the players, the coaches, and all that, I could possibly commit," he said. "If not, we'll wait until after the season. I'm not really in a rush."
