Brown is committed, but still evaluating

Katy, Texas defensive back Isaiah Brown committed to Tulsa in September, and while he is happy with his commitment to the Golden Hurricane, he continues to evaluate his options.
"It's going good right now. I'm still committed to Tulsa," Brown said of his recruitment. "I'm keeping my options open right now. I'm committed to Tulsa, but I'm going to keep my options open."

When he chose Tulsa, he committed over offers from New Mexico and Southeastern Louisiana. He was also receiving interest from the likes of West Virginia and UTSA. Brown's commitment has not slowed the attention with West Virginia, UCLA, and UTSA among those keeping in touch.
The interest from West Virginia has caught his eye. Brown keeps in touch with offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson on a regular basis.
"They're telling me to be patient and not to give up on them," Brown said.
While he is listening to other programs, there are reasons he committed to Tulsa, and reasons remains comfortable with his decision.
"Ever since I met coach (Calvin) Thibodeaux he's always been real with me, and he always seemed like he really wanted me and they really wanted me and needed me," Brown said." I figured it would be a great place and they told me I had a chance to go in and play early. I don't know I just wanted to be a part of the Golden Hurricane family."
At this point in the process, Brown does not have any official visits on his schedule, but he does plan to sit down with his family and discuss the possibility of taking a few visits.
