Brown hopeful Stanford offers

Suwanee (Ga.) North Gwinnett wide receiver Nate Brown is in the process of trimming his list of top schools. The big, physical wideout is still waiting on a couple of programs before he makes his cut.
This summer he took unofficial visits to California and Stanford. Brown said, "It was real nice. I was impressed with academic side and the coaching staff at both schools. Cal has a receiver commit right now and they are only taking one, so if something happens with that we will see how that goes. "

He also checked out Georgia Tech, Kentucky, and Louisville during his summer tour.
The 6-foot-3, 215-pounder is hoping Stanford and Kentucky offer before the start of the season, so he knows where he stands before announcing his top five. The Wildcats took a receiver this week, so it could come down to numbers with UK. Brown stated, "If Stanford offered that would put them in my top three."
Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, and Vanderbilt are showing a lot of interest and are standing out along with the aforementioned schools according to Brown.
Brown grew up a fan of Ohio State, but he hasn't been in contact with the Buckeyes.
The three-star flanker is in no hurry to make a decision, but he doesn't want the process to drag either. As a junior, Brown caught 41 passes for 491 yards and nine touchdowns.
