Brown high on in-state schools

Jordon Brown of Durham (N.C.) Southern Durham does not have a favorite school right now but the junior athlete likes East Carolina, N.C. State, North Carolina and Wake Forest.
"I like the way East Carolina runs their offense and the way they get their athletes the football in multiple ways," said the 5-foot-11, 179-pound Brown. "I like how they get their running backs the ball. N.C. State was the first team to show interest in me. I have a relationship with their running back coach.

"I like North Carolina in general because I have always been a North Carolina fan, but I don't think that will affect my decision," he said. "I haven't been to a big game there, but I just like North Carolina as a whole. They are doing some good things at Wake Forest. They are getting a new facility built and they are trying to build their program."
Brown is also considering Appalachian State, West Virginia and Boston College. Appalachian State was the most recent school to give him an offer.
"I know that they recently moved from the FCS to the FBS," he said. "I know that they are an in-state program and they have had success over the years at the FCS level."
Brown's next visit will be to Wake Forest in a few weeks.
"When I go there, that will be the first game I have seen them play," Brown said. "I'm looking forward to see how that is and how the game atmosphere is for a home game. I just want to see how that game day routine is."
The last school that Brown visited was N.C. State.
"It was a great visit," he said. "I liked the atmosphere there and they almost beat the number one team in the nation in Florida State, so that was a pretty good game to watch them play. They're a team that competes every week and they have great athletes and great coaches. They want to build a program that wants to compete for the national championship."
Browns feels like the in-state schools like ECU, North Carolina, N.C. State and Wake Forest are recruiting him the hardest right now. He has been talking to N.C. State, East Carolina and Wake Forest the most lately.
He plans on announcing his commitment decision around next year's football season. Brown has 350 rushing yards, 400 receiving yards and 19 touchdowns this season.
