Brown has Sooners in top three

We caught up with Long Beach Poly (Calif.) wide out Desean Jackson and the Lakewood (Calif.) linebacker duo of Adrian McCovey and Luthur Brown while the trio was in the Dallas airport getting to ready to fly home from their visit to Oklahoma.
"The trip was real tight," Brown said. "I can definitely see myself out here. This was my first trip so I don't have much to compare it with but I love the football they play out here. Watching them practice, they have some athletes here that's for sure and Adrian Peterson is very impressive to see up close. If USC isn't able to stop him and the running game, I don't give them much of a chance to win the Orange Bowl.

"The thing that stood out was how well all the players get along. It's a real family atmosphere and it was just fun hanging out with everyone. All the recruits went out together and had a real good time. Well, except Adrian over there who was too bitter after getting his butt whipped in Madden football.
"The coaches are intense and OU has a great defense every year. They play the kind of fast, aggressive football I love and I know I would really fit in well here. Right now, I would put OU, USC and LSU as my top schools but I'm going to take all my trips and probably won't be ready to make a decision until Signing Day."
We asked Brown what impact Coach Orgeron (USC DL coach), the coach who had been recruiting him for the Trojans, leaving for the head job at Mississippi would have on his recruitment.
"I like Coach O but I'm more concerned with who the head coach is," Brown said. "As long as Coach Carroll stays around, they'll be fine. Coach O is great but he wasn't even going to be my position coach anyway so it's all good."
