Brown has decision date in mind

Cincinnati (Ohio) Winton Woods four-star offensive tackle George Brown has yet to narrow his list of 50-plus scholarship offers, but he already knows what date he'll commit.
"My birthday is when I am going to commit - October 28," Brown reported. "I was probably going to do a top 15 sometime before the season starts, toward the end of the summer."

Brown expects to be ready to make the call on his college future when Oct. 28 rolls around, but for now he has yet to determine any favorites.
"I'd say right now I am still wide open," Brown said. "I still have to sit down with my parents and see."
With his cut to 15 schools closer on the horizon, Brown plans to see a few more schools this summer before he narrows his list.
"I don't have anything set, but I know the schools I want to go see are LSU, Georgia, Florida and Auburn," Brown said.
Another stop that could end up on that tour of SEC schools if they offer is Alabama, and Brown could be close to hearing good news from the Crimson Tide.
"I was supposed to talk to Coach (Nick) Saban last night but he got a little busy, so I guess Coach Saban is supposed to give me a call later today," Brown said. "I'd say that is a pretty big interest. I'll definitely get down there if they offer. I actually talked to Derek Kief last night. He's down there already and he likes it a lot."
The 6-foot-6, 261-pound Brown is the nation's No. 118 ranked player and the No. 13 ranked offensive tackle in the 2015 class.
