Brown favors ACC, Vols, Lions

Wilson (N.C.) Beddingfield defensive end Everette Brown saw his team jump out to a 3-1 start with a narrow 26-20 victory over Farmville Central. Brown has been instrumental in his team's success on both sides of the ball in the early season hauling in touchdowns from his tight end spot as well as wreaking havoc from off the corner from his defensive end spot.
Brown has been busy speaking with coaches since the contact period began September 1st and is looking hard at seven schools.

“I like five schools from the ACC in Duke, Florida State, North Carolina, North Carolina State and Virginia Tech,” explained Brown. “I’m also looking at Penn State and Tennessee out of conference. The five ACC schools are recruiting me the hardest.”
Brown is beginning to start planning his official visits and is trying to find a way to see all seven of the schools he is looking at.
“I will probably take official visits to out-of-state schools,” admitted Brown. “I may take unofficial visits to some of the in state schools since I’ve seen most of them a few times.”
Florida State and Virginia Tech have been reported as two of his official visits, is that still the case.
“It’s a strong possibility I’ll visit those two officially,” stated Brown. “I haven’t made any concrete plans just yet.”
Brown was in attendance to see Wake Forest defeat East Carolina over the weekend. He attended the game due to the proximity of the Pirates to his hometown, but is not seriously considering either school at this time.
