It's getting close to crunch time for Lakewood (Calif.) linebacker Luthur Brown and he has narrowed his choices down to a final two.
Brown, 6-2, 225 pounds was supposed to visit Miami this past weekend but said he's now done with all his trips and should know where he's going by the weekend.
"I'm down to USC and Arizona," Brown said. "Miami was running a little low on scholarships but they said they still wanted to trip me in. I just didn't feel like taking any more visits and I'm going to take this weekend to sort everything out between my two schools.
"Arizona came in for a home visit last night (Tuesday) and Pete Carroll will be coming over on Saturday to the house. My dad is really looking forward to talking to him. Those are my two schools and I don't have a leader between them.
"To be honest, I really haven't taken the time yet to sit down and compare the two schools to each other. You know, kind of weigh the pros and cons of each. I'm planning to do that this weekend. After Pete Carroll leaves on Saturday, I'll take the rest of the weekend to figure out what I should do and I should have my decision by Monday although I'm not going to release it until Signing Day."
