Fort Myers (Fla.) Dunbar defensive tackle Christian Brown claims five early offers.
"So far I know Illinois, UCF, Western Kentucky, Purdue, and Duke have offered me," Brown said.

The 6-foot-2, 280-pound defensive lineman said the recruiting pitch from all five schools is relatively similar.
"Most of them are just telling me that they are looking forward to me coming up there to play for them," Brown said. "They also want me to come visit and see how the program is."
"Most of them are recruiting me with the same style," Brown added.
Brown, who recently had 22 bench reps at the Miami Under Armour Combine, has been to one college campus and has plans to see two more in March.
"I took a Junior Day trip to Florida State and I am supposed to be taking a Junior Day trip to Miami and UCF in March," Brown said.
He talked a bit about what he learned while he was in Tallahassee at Florida State's Junior Day.
"Florida State was pretty much about learning about the coaching staff, how they work out, the facilities, and academics," Brown said. "We got a tour of campus and saw everything there."
While offers from in-state schools are appealing to Brown, he is open to departing the Sunshine State for his collegiate experience.
"I grew up down here in Florida but it doesn't matter to me if I go to a school down here or if I go away," Brown said. "I don't mind going to another state for college."
When it comes time to decide, Brown is looking for a good opportunity on and off the field.
"I am looking for a place where I can contribute early on in my career," Brown said. "I am looking for a school that has the right program for me so that if football doesn't work out I have my degree to work with."
Brown is currently involved with track and field, participating in the shotput and discus.
