Broughton clears up recruitment

Treshon Broughton has cleared up some issues in his recruitment, added another offer and is looking forward to scheduling some official visits.
The Murrieta (Calif.) Vista Murrieta three-star cornerback added an offer from Fresno State, has not been offered by Nebraska and said in the next couple weeks he and his family could figure out some trips.

So far, Fresno State, Oregon State and New Mexico State have offered the 5-foot-11, 170-pound prospect who's also hearing from Washington and a few other schools.
"I took the SATs and I wanted to wait until after I did that to take visits," Broughton said. "I'll probably start scheduling some visits this week or next week.
"I don't know at the moment where I'm going. I'm going to go over it with my parents and then we'll go from there."
There were rampant rumors that Nebraska had offered the Vista Murrieta standout but Broughton would never confirm them because he had not yet talked with that coaching staff.
He made it clear, though, that he doesn't believe the Huskers have offered but he said communication remains between the coaching staffs.
"They're still showing interest," Broughton said.
As for visits, it still is too early to tell where Broughton is headed. He would like to take as many trips as possible to figure out the best fit but the three-star is also focused on a big season and wants to land even more offers.
"I'd like to visit all of them if I could," Broughton said. "There isn't a certain one standing out yet."
