Brooks talks with Bamas Price

Daniel Brooks
had his first one-on-one conversation with new Alabama coach Mike
Price on Monday, and things reportedly went well.
"I was looking forward to talking to him," said Brooks,
a member of the
Rivals100 team and the No. 4
inside linebacker in the nation. "We didn't get to talk a long time because I
was going to work, but it was a nice conversation. I feel real good about him.
We talked about setting my official visit for Jan. 17."
Brooks (6-3, 230, 4.56) has one visit in the books
already, a Dec. 13 trip to Tennessee. He'll be making a visit to Ole Miss on
Jan. 10.
"I don't have a favorite right now," he said. "They're all real close, especially Alabama and Tennessee."
Those appear to be the three finalists for his
services.
"I don't know if I'll go anywhere else," he said. "I
don't have any plans to right now."
