Brooks solid to BC

Although there were confirmed quotes from Orlando (Fla.) Bishop Moore running back A.J. Brooks that he had committed to Boston College, the 6-foot-0, 192-pounder forgot one thing -- to get his mom's okay on the situation. After meeting with the BC coaches on Wednesday, is he solid to the Eagles?
"Yes, I'm committed to BC," said the three-star tailback. "My mom just had a few more questions she wanted answered and BC came in and did that last night. I was thinking about taking a visit to Wake Forest because she wanted me to make sure I was making the right choice, but I'm certain that BC is for me."

Brooks, who rushed for more than 1,800 yards as a senior, loved everything about BC on his visit.
"It was cold and all and it even snowed, but that was all cool," he said. "I liked it. It was such a chance of pace from down here. I also like the academics and the chance to be a running back at a school that runs the ball so much. I'm happy with my decision."
Brooks chose BC over offers from Maryland, Duke, Wake Forest, Central Florida, East Carolina and others.
