Brooks narrows field to three

"I'm going to Pitt Friday," Duquesne, Pa., running back Shane Brooks said. "That's my first visit.
"Then I have Akron Jan. 21. I'm going to visit Connecticut too, but I don't have the date yet. That's it. That's about it.

"I don't have a favorite.
"All three came to my school on Monday."
Brooks rushed for 1550 yards and averaged 7 yards per carry. He scored 13 times.
The 5-foot-10, 217 pound Brooks is the No. 33 running back prospect in the Rivals.com player rankings and the No. 8 prospect in the state of Pennsylvania.
