Brooks knows of three offers

As a junior, Ponte Vedra (Fla.) Nease athlete JoJo Brooks did a little bit of everything for his squad. He played quarterback, running back, wide receiver, and defensive back. That versatility has helped lead to a few early offers for the Sunshine State prospect.
"South Carolina, Clemson, V-Tech had offered," Brooks said. "I have been talking to UCF, but I don't think they have extended a full offer. I talked to USF during the spring (last year) but they haven't said much about an offer."

As for where he will line up at the next level, that remains up in the air.
"Clemson wants me to play quarterback or strong safety I think. South Carolina wants me as a safety. Virginia Tech I am not sure," Brooks said. "I would prefer to be a quarterback in college."
At this point, Brooks has yet to hit the road for any Junior Day visits but that will change in two weeks.
"I am going to one on March 5th to USF," Brooks said. "I was meaning to go to Georgia Tech one (this past weekend) but I got caught up with something."
With regards to naming a leader and making a decision, the North Florida product intends to take his time with the process.
"I am not rushing into it," Brooks said. "Since I still have another year of high school, I am taking it slow."
When it comes time to decide, Brooks said that his intended major is going to be a serious factor.
"It is going to come down to major-wise, what they have to offer," Brooks said. "I really want to major in marine biology or biology."
