Brooks adds another offer

Monrovia, Calif., tight end Eric Brooks already had one really nice scholarship offer on his resume, but the 6-foot-1, 240-pounder added a new offer on Monday, when a Pac 10 school came calling on him.
"I just got offered by Arizona State," Brooks said.

"I already had that offer from Colorado State, but now you can add Arizona State to the list, too."
Brooks said he doesn't know much about the Sun Devils at this point, but he was pumped up about the newest offer.
"I still have a lot to learn about them," he said.
"I do know that it's close to home and they throw the ball to the tight end a lot. They're also in the Pac 10, which is a major goal of mine to play in."
Brooks is also getting looks from Arizona, California, Colorado State, Oregon, Oregon State, UCLA and Washington. He was named his team's most valuable player on offense in 2005 after racking up 34 receptions for 301 yards and two scores. He also added 26 solo stops, 11 assists, two sacks and a fumble recovery on defense.
