Brohm visits Vols

Four-star Louisville (Ky.) Trinity quarterback Brian Brohm made his third official visit this weekend, heading south to Knoxville, Tenn.
“We just got back from our visit to Tennessee,” said the player’s father, Oscar. “Brian’s been a little bit under the weather, and he’s not feeling very well at all right now, so we decided to give him a break from all the phone calls tonight.

“But the visit went very well. He didn’t make a commitment or anything, but I think he really enjoyed himself and the people down there.”
Brohm (6-3, 200, 4.65) has visited Notre Dame, Kentucky and Tennessee. A date still looms for Louisville, where his father and brother played, and the latter (Jeff) is currently the quarterbacks coach.
Will there be a fifth visit?
“Well, Illinois is still talking to him,” Oscar Brohm said. “They were in here the other day. But I’m not sure if he’ll schedule a visit with them or not. It’s still those four other schools right now.”
Brohm was named Kentucky “Mr. Football” after passing for 3,720 yards and 33 touchdowns as a senior. He led the Shamrocks to their second straight Class 4A championship.
