Brock returns from Kansas

UTEP commit Logan Brock from Copperas Cove, Texas now has something to compare his visit to El Paso with. This weekend he took in the sights in Lawrence, Kansas.
"Yes sir and I enjoyed it very much," Brock said about his trip to Kansas. "Well right now I'm actually sitting at the DFW airport. I'm on my way back right now."

The 6-foot-4, 232-pound tight end from Copperas Cove (Tex.) High School was on his way home and still had the trip fresh in mind as he talked about it.
Brock may have arrived late, but that didn't stop him from enjoying his time.
"I got in a day later than everyone else because I was playing in the MAC All-American bowl," Brock said. "But when I got there I checked into my hotel. It was a real nice hotel.
"Then coach (Brandon) Blaney, the tight ends coach, came and got me and I actually spent most of my day with him. He showed me all around campus and everything. Then we ended up eating breakfast with the other recruits in the press box."
However, it was the next part of his visit that really caught his eye.
"Then we took a tour of the facilities," Brock said. "The indoor facilities, weight room, the locker room and stuff. We walked in the locker room and they had our numbers on a KU jersey and a helmet for us. They told us this is what it's going to be like. This is your locker and everything."
Another important aspect of college is of course the social scene so Brock also got to experience a bit of that in Lawrence.
"We also went to a party last night and I got to see what the social scene was like," Brock said. "I got to see what kind of girls they have there."
After all the fun that he had on his visit, does Brock still consider himself committed to UTEP?
"Yes sir," Brock said. "At this point I do. I enjoyed UTEP and everything and I enjoyed coach (Mike) Price. Just after taking this visit I've got a lot to think about, but UTEP is still number one."
Brock still plans on taking his remaining three visits later this month to TCU, Illinois, and Iowa State.
