Broadway ready for the big show

Houston Booker T. Washington receiver Jeremy Broadway misses his former quarterback, Joseph Fields, who is now getting some serious playing time at Syracuse. But that hasn’t stopped Broadway from doing what he can to help Booker T. make it back to the first round of the Texas state playoffs.
“We’re in,” Broadway said. “We have Kashmere first this week. They’re like our rival. We all know each other really well. I know almost the whole team. We’re friends off the field, but when we step on the field, we’re not going to even talk to each other.”

Broadway, who is 5-foot-11 and 185 pounds, said at this point he still “technically” remains an Oklahoma State commitment.
“I don’t know,” he said. “It’s real confusing. I’m just going to wait until February and see what I’m going to do. I’m still committed to Oklahoma State, technically, but you never know what might happen.”
What is going to happen are official visits to at least four schools.
“I’ve got visits set up with Oklahoma State, Wisconsin, UTEP and Utah,” Broadway said. “But don’t even begin to ask me what the dates are, because I not sure exactly. I’ll figure all that stuff out once we’re done with the playoffs.”
And for Broadway, hopefully that won’t be for quite some time.
