Four star linebacker Lance Broadus (6-2, 225, 4.5) from Woodland Hills (Calif.) Taft has his mind set on Oregon. He committed to Nebraska after his trip but after he thought about it, he decided that Oregon was more to his liking.
“I committed to Nebraska on my trip,” Broadus said. “I had second thoughts shortly after I came home.”
“Nebraska is a great football school,’ Broadus said. “But after that there is only school.”
“Nebraska is a lot like Oregon,” Broadus said. “But I would rather go to school in Oregon.”
“Oregon is a better place for me,” Broadus said. “If there wasn’t football, if I got hurt, I would rather be in Oregon.”
“There is no turning back,” Broadus said. “I will sign with Oregon on Wednesday.”
“Oregon was just a better fit.”
Broadus was rated by Rivals100 as the 23 best prospect in the West and the 22nd best prospect in California at any position.
The Ducks have made a living off talented players like Broadus. Terrific get for Oregon.
